Free Entrance to five of Heritage Malta's museums

Five of Heritage Malta’s museums will be open for free to the general public on Monday 15th August, a public holiday. The museums and sites included in this open day are the National War Museum in Valletta and the four Citadella Museum in Gozo; Folklore Museums, Museum of Archaeology, Museum of Natural Science and The Old Prison.

New Bronze Age Hall at the National Museum of Archaeology

Heritage Malta’s renovation of the Bronze Age Hall at the National Museum of Archaeology is the latest display project undertaken. The Bronze Age Hall, and another section dedicated to the mystery of the Cart Ruts, shed further light on Malta’s prehistory and provide for further understating of people’s livelihoods during that particular period.

Parliamentary Secretary Mario De Marco visits ‘The History Highlights’ audio-visual attraction at the Valletta Waterfront

The Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Culture and the Environment was touring the Valletta Waterfront on the invitation of the Board of Directors representing Valletta Cruise Port recently.

Dr. De Marco made a brief stop outside at the gracious baroque chapel located on the waterfront which is annexed to the Pinto and Forni vaults. The audio-visual show is currently screened in the ‘Sagrestia Vault’ leading from the chapel.
