MTA Welcomes Extraordinary +24% Growth in Total Inbound Visitors in November 2016

According to figures published today by the National Statistics Office, the number of inbound visitors to Malta in August 2016 reached a new record high of 256,782, registering an increase of 3.4% over the same month last year. Statistics released today by the National Statistics Office show that inbound tourism to Malta continues to soar with total inbound visitors in April 2016 reaching 166,252, increasing by 8.1% compared to same month last year.

Cruise passenger statistics published today for the period October to December 2015 show a significant growth of 15.0% when compared to the same period last year. Total cruise passenger traffic during the fourth quarter of 2015 amounted to 176,295; 23,044 more passengers compared to the same period a year ago.
